Why come?

Family Constellation workshops are like Heineken - they reach the parts other talking therapies cannot reach. In a workshop we combine our felt experience with healing sentences to create profound changes in people's lives. Often if we are stuck in our lives we are unable to move forwards because we cannot see what ia blocking us - usually our own emotional blocks. Family constellations reveal those hidden blocks so we can find ways to move on.

This sounds a bit like therapy, but it is different. As one participant said it's like 6 months of therapy in one day.

Participating in a group can feel very scary and exposing, but the joy of the group work is that people only need expose as much of themselves as they feel comfortable with. It can be a huge relief to see other people's constellations and learn that your issues are similar to others'. Participating in a group lets people have an experience of being held and respected in the group. Workshops inevitably end with people who were strangers a few hours ago, departing with deep heartfelt hugs.

'I found this to be a deeply insightful and moving evening. It's a powerful tool for seemingly easily uncovering some of the unknown or unacknowledged drama that is unconsciously running our everyday experience. Liz Sleeper is an excellent facilitator, caring, thoughtful, intuitive, grounded and created a very safe space.' - Helen, Hove

'Thank you so much for the experiences of the last few months especially last night. It seems often that the “right people” turn up for each occasion!... With a meditation at the start there is for me a powerful sense of group intention which then seems to morph into a field of compassion in which the magic occurs. My experiences seem to be the engaging of body, mind and spirit and have been charged with emotion. I always feel afterwards great humility in experiencing unexpected benefits for me. Liz has in my mind a shamanic role in this magic for which I am very grateful' -
Alan, Brighton

'It was my first time at Constellations and my issue was dealt with. It was a very strong experience and I was touched by the commitment and involvement of the participants .'
- Caroline, Brighton

'Well run, well contained, grounded, kind and friendly and welcoming, very appropriate learnt a lot and took home loads to think about and to process'
- Maggie, Brighton

Who is this workshop for?

So who should come to this workshop? Anyone who has an issue in their life, they just can't seem to fix. Perhaps the issue is longstanding - perhaps you just can't get on with your mother, or father, or you have a sibling who is really, really difficult. Perhaps you are worried about one of your children, and you can't seem to figure out how to help them.

At a recent workshop we had one participant who felt they could never be good enough and was tired of their own pursuit of perfection, another participant had a sister who would not speak to them. Once we set up the constellation and could see all of the influences on their family system - not just personal influences like losses of family members, but also global influences such as the war, and being in a particular place at a particular time, the issues the participants were facing made much more sense to them.

Liz Sleeper is passionate about Family Constellation work and its impact on people's lives. She completed a two year Family Constellation training with the Centre for Systemic Constellations in 2011. In 2012 she took further specialist training with international teacher and trainer Judith Hemming. Since completing her training she has been running workshops and doing one to one constellation consultations in Lewes and Brighton. She also transcribes at Moving Constellation workshops in London to maintain contact with the best in the field.

'I am very grateful to Liz for her wonderful approach and kind empathetic body language and facial expressions, that make me feel very welcome and safe about attending the workshops in the future. ... The experience could not have been improved! It was better than I expected or greater than I could ever have imagined!' - Anna, Brighton

'Brilliant evening. As a facilitator myself I was highly impressed with how beautifully Liz held the space with skill, love, wisdom and care. My soul felt deeply nourished and I slept like a baby' - Pam, Hove.

We do hope you will join us for a truly unique and transformative experience!
