Guest Speaker: Charlotte Watts
Charlotte is a
Nutritional Therapist with over ten years’ experience. She trained at The Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London, where she was later a tutor and year programme leader. She now lectures at the College of Naturopathic Medicine UK. As well as a private practice, Charlotte also consults for corporate clients and health companies, giving talks and workshops. She has been the nutritionist/presenter on BBC3’s Freaky Eaters and on GMTV. She writes for national magazines, is often quoted in the press and has written and consulted on many nutritional books before writing
The De-Stress Diet, including 100 Top Recipes for Happy Kids,
100 Foods to Stay Young and 100 Best Foods for Pregnancy.
Charlotte works with clients to identify the underlying
reasons for health concerns, looking at how the body
functions as a whole which allows her to make
connections between how people eat, live, family history
and the factors that influence health and weight. In her
many years of working with clients, she has had great
success at seeing people lose weight naturally to become
healthier, happier and feeling more in control of their
lives.
Charlotte is also a 500-hour Yoga Alliance trained teacher with the Vajrasati School of Yoga, Brighton, and combines this skill for a holistic approach to health issues and an emphasis on attention to body awareness and breath. She has been teaching yoga classes, workshops and corporate events and writing on the subject for over four years, with a 15-year practice.
